North Providence was settled soon after Roger Williams arrived in 1636. It was incorporated as its own town in 1765. In 1874, the town's busiest areas split off to help form Pawtucket and part of Providence. What remained grew up along the Woonasquatucket River.
Mill villages like Lymansville, Allendale, Centredale, and Greystone were built there in the early 1800s. Fruit Hill developed later as a streetcar suburb for Providence commuters.
Downspout offers gutter cleaning, gutter repair, and pressure washing throughout North Providence. Homes in the old mill villages carry gutter systems repaired and resized many times since the 1800s. Older sections don't always match the roofline they're on now. Fruit Hill's early-1900s homes are old enough that their original gutters and siding need attention too. Being this close to Providence means more dust, pollen, and grime buildup than a quieter town would see. Downspout repairs and resizes those gutter systems, and pressure washes siding that's collected decades of buildup.
