Warren was incorporated in 1747 with two working waterfronts: the Warren River and the Kickemuit River. The town became Rhode Island's top whaling port in the 1800s. Roughly 60 percent of the state's whaling ships sailed out of Warren between 1840 and 1860. Today the Warren Waterfront Historic District preserves more than 300 buildings from that era.
Warren sits low and is nearly surrounded by water. Two rivers flank the town, with Mount Hope Bay and Narragansett Bay pressing in beyond them.
Downspout offers gutter cleaning, gutter repair, house washing, and pressure washing across Warren. That much water exposure means salt air reaches homes across most of town, not just the two waterfronts. Older homes in the historic district carry gutter systems fixed many times since the shipbuilding era. Painted wood siding across town also picks up salt residue and mildew fast. Downspout cleans and repairs Warren's older gutter systems. We also run house washing and pressure washing on siding exposed to water from nearly every direction.
Serving Warren and Its Neighborhoods
Downspout works across Warren, from the historic waterfront district to the neighborhoods of Touisset and the rest of town. With water bordering Warren on nearly every side, regular gutter care and pressure washing stay a real, ongoing need.
