West Warwick split off from Warwick in 1913. That makes it the youngest town in Rhode Island. It grew up as a mill town along the Pawtuxet River. Several old mills still stand today, including Lippitt Mill from 1809.
Workers from many countries came here for the mills. They settled in small villages built around each mill. Nearly half of West Warwick's homes are still multi-family buildings today, like duplexes and triple-deckers.
Downspout offers gutter cleaning, gutter repair, and pressure washing throughout West Warwick. Many gutter systems here date back to the mill era. They've been patched and repaired over the decades, and don't always fit the roofline above them. That leads to water pooling in the wrong places. The old brick and wood siding also collects mold and grime after a century of New England weather. Regular pressure washing clears that buildup and protects the surface underneath.
Serving West Warwick and Its Neighborhoods
Downspout works throughout West Warwick's historic villages: Arctic, Centreville, Crompton, Natick, Phenix, and Riverpoint. Each one still has its own mix of old and new homes. Regular gutter cleaning and pressure washing help protect them all.
